Overview
We’re building an AI workforce that lets small businesses run and grow themselves. Working alongside technical founder Kai Feller (previous company was UK’s largest bootstrapped exit of $300m), we're assembling an elite founding team that moves fast and gets things done.
As a Founding Engineer, you’ll work across the stack - shipping fast, shaping architecture, and integrating cutting-edge AI directly into the product. You’ll build step changing features, design APIs that scale, and help define how we work and what we build next. This is a creative engineering role at its best - building what’s never existed before within a small collaborative group that operates with a sense of urgency and passion for building innovative products.
Role
- Build new step-changing product features end-to-end, shipping fast and often.
- Integrate cutting-edge AI directly into the product - voice, reasoning, context management, data extraction - turning static workflows into living intelligence.
- Design & build APIs that scale internally & externally to connect products, integrations, and intelligence systems together.
- Architect robust data flows & pipelines that fuel agent context & decision making.
- Develop backend infrastructure and intelligent automation for knowledge crawling, extraction and enrichment.
- Help shape and contribute towards our DevOps practices (CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability).
Requirements
- Deep full-stack Javascript expertise or deep backend Python expertise (we're looking to hire for both).
- Previous full ownership of a successful high volume system.
- Evidence of excellence at everything you do.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Naturally articulate and able to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Genuine care for customers, their experience and desire to wow them.
